A Genuine Guide
I believe in offering empathetic & ethical sessions to my clients.
I feel it’s your right to know a therapist’s professional history - and especially what has inspired them on their learning journey!
About Me
From an early age, I have felt natural empathy with people (having been that kid in school who cried when other kids were shedding tears!).
In my early 20s, I felt drawn to travel overseas indefinitely & learned that all human beings share the same need for connection & support.
On my return to Australia, I trained in Psychology/Law, then a Masters in Counselling.
I also studied various Meditation teaching styles and Holistic Health approaches in Australia, Nepal, Thailand & Indonesia.
I have worked in wellbeing since 2002 and held a private practise since 2017.
Since the mid 90’s, I have volunteered in:
Supervised counselling under two Psychologist Mentors
A Steiner-themed support group for women living with cancer at The Melbourne Therapy Centre
Family Mediation with Ringwood Extended Family Services
In my sessions, I welcome people from varying backgrounds & beliefs, including migrants, Indigenous Australians, homeschooling families & members of the LGBTQI & Trans community
